Portland-based Nevue Ngan Associates was awarded the 2009 California American Planning Association award for Innovation in Green Community Planning. The honor was presented for the firm’s development of the San Mateo County Sustainable Green Streets and Parking Lots Design Guidebook. The guidebook has been recognized as having national significance by helping provide designers, builders, municipal staff, and other interested groups a “toolbox” of design strategies for creating green streets and green parking lots. read more >

The Southwest Montgomery Green Street Concept Plan is now complete. The nine-block conceptual plan integrates a highly pedestrian-oriented streetscape with a variety of stormwater strategies. This project aims to be downtown Portland’s boldest green street effort. download here >
